This item is great for Sonic Adventure fans, general Sonic fans, and Xbox gamers.

In the window that opens, navigate to the In-Game tab and ensure that the box next to Enable the Steam Overlay While In-Game is selectedĤ) Navigate to the Controller tab, and click on the General Controller Settings buttonĥ) In the window that appears, check the box for XBox Configuration SupportĦ) That's it! You can check your controller setup for SA2 by navigating to your library, right-clicking SA2 and then hovering over Manage and choosing Controller Configuration.ħ) Next time you run the game, just ensure that Gamepad is selected in the Player tab of the Configuration window that pops up as before. Here is my custom made Xbox 360 cover for Sonic Adventure DX for Xbox 360. In the configuration window for SA2 that appears choose the Player tab and select Gamepad instead of Keyboardģ) In the top right of Steam, go to Steam -> Settings. It's worth stating that I actually only had to perform the following steps in order to get it to work, so you DON'T have to go through the whole guide that is linked to above:ġ) Plug in your controller and then start SteamĢ) Run the game at least once. So why have I added this guide when the one linked to above already works? Because I almost didn't read it due to the title, as I didn't think I needed to "set up" a controller that already "worked" with Steam and was fine in other games like SA1.

If you wish you can simply follow that guide to properly enable XBox controller support in the game and have the analog stick work as expected. The approach to to do this is actually already described in the following guide: Unlike my custom Steam cover for Sonic Adventure DX the reversible side with the original artwork has the original Sonic Adventure logo from 1999.So the way to fix this issue is to enable XBox controller support explicitly in Steam.

Like my custom Steam Cover for Sonic Adventure DX this side that I'm showing you has the DX artwork for the game back when it was released on GameCube while the reversible side has the original Sonic Adventure artwork back when the game was originally released on Dreamcast. I know it was also on Xbox One because this game along with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is an Xbox Live Arcade game and was also on the Dreamcast Collection compilation for Xbox 360 but I thought it would be more cool to see what it would look like If there was a separate physical copy of Sonic Adventure DX for Xbox 360. Here's my Custom Xbox 360 cover for Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut. Sonic Adventure is a 1998 platform game for Sega's Dreamcast and the first main Sonic the Hedgehog game to feature 3D gameplay. It follows Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles 'Tails' Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Big the Cat, and E-102 Gamma in their quests to collect the Chaos Emeralds and stop series antagonist Doctor Robotnik from unleashing Chaos, an ancient evil.
